Modigliani Elongation Reproduction – Artist Amedeo Clemente Modigliani (1884-1920)

Modigliani Elongation Reproduction was commissioned a few years ago. The customer fell in love with the artist Amedeo Clemente Modigliani (1884-1920). He is an Italian artist who worked in France and primarily was a figurative artist. His modern style of figure was characterized by mask-like faces and elongation of forms. I gave the costumer a choice between a few of his works for this reproduction which I felt I would be interested in studying. His dark saturated color choices were different from mine which held the temptation of change. His brush work was flowing in his landscape paintings while still keeping the elongation which he was known for, so I preferred to replicate his landscape paintings which suited my own style. I was happy with the results of this painting and remain interested in doing more reproductions of the famous paintings of master painters.
